On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to announce the meeting in
“Repositioning Natural Products in Drug Discovery”
The meeting will be held on January 17th, 2020 at the Department of Life Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Modena (Italy).
The meeting will focus on experimental and computational approaches in the research area of natural products, repurposing and drug discovery, including studies on - but not limited to - identification of new targets of natural compounds, discovery of bioactive natural and semi-synthetic compounds, their isolation and characterization, dereplication of natural extracts, health foods, analysis of structure–activity relationships of natural products, and in silico screening.
The “Repositioning Natural Products in Drug Discovery” is an event dedicated to researchers from industrial and academic environments, with the aim to provide an opportunity to exchange their experience and knowledge in drug discovery and natural products.
This event is also related to a special issue recently opened on Molecules. Further details about the issue can be found at the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/special_issues/repositioning.
Both young scientists and experienced researchers are cordially invited to participate to this event to conduct high-level discussions, to exchange ideas and establish new collaborations.
Participation to the meeting is free, but the number of participants is limited to 120. The selection will be made by the organizing committee on a first come first served basis.
